Is summer really over already...sad day!

So I've gotten to be really bad about updating this blog. Life has been so crazy with Alex being busy with school all the time and having two very active little boys!

We have had a very eventful summer. A few days after Alex finished his first year of school we loaded up the car with all our luggage and both boys and headed to Wisconsin Dells. It was such a long drive but some how we made it alive. The boys were both rock stars and only cried once or twice. We spent 4 glorious days at the Great Wolf Lodge, an indoor waterpark. Jaden absolutely loved it! He went down every single slide they would let him and was as independent as was possible. He also got to play at Magiquest and enjoyed that as well.

After our wonderful vacation we loaded back up in the car and headed to Milwaukee to spend a week with Alex's mom. We had a lot of fun seeing the boys with the Grandma since they don't get to see her often. We also got to go to a children's museum and that was fun, it made me really sad that we don't have one close to where we live.

The next stop on our trip was Lansing, MI for Austins (Alexs brother) wedding. We got to stay at a really nice hotel at a steal (thanks to the military)! Alex was a groomsman and Jaden was the ring bearer. I must say that Jaden was definitely the cutest ring bearer ever! Seriously! He even walked so sweetly with the flower girl, stayed up front the entire ceremony and then walked back. I was so proud!

After our short stay in MI we headed back south. This time we decided not to make the entire drive all at one so we stopped to stay with my Aunt Candy and Uncle Pat. We had a blast even though we only got to spend a few short days.

After that it was time to head back to good ole Mississippi! It was so nice to be home! Granted we have been back and forth between here and Pensacola the past few weeks! But now we are home for a while and it is so nice! I must say it was nice visiting family but it is so nice to be home!
