1. I quit my job at the end of May so that I could stay home with Jaden and it has been magical. I will admit that sometimes we do get bored at home but for the most part we have a lot of fun.
2. Jaden turned ONE! He is just so adorable all the time. He does have his moments but they are all definitely just moments. He is so much fun to play with and he copies everything, which is always really funny. He is walking, running, climbing (everything!), dancing, talking (He can say Mom, Momma, Dad, Dada, Hi, yuck, gone, and a few other things that I can't think of right now. He claps, he knows where his nose is and points to it, he can pound it, and he gives head butts and kisses. He has 8 teeth and 1 molar and is working on getting a second molar right now (so sad).
3. We had his first birthday on June 5 and it went awesome. We had a great turn out with lots of friends and family. Jaden went down the slide all by himself and LOVED it! It was awesome! He is also jumping off the diving board by himself.
4. Other than everything I mentioned above we are really just preparing to moving to MS at the end of the month for medical school. We can't believe it's so close to being a reality. To help pay for medical school Alex is joining the Navy. I was a completely against it at first but after talking to others who has gone through the same program it has made me a little more comfortable with the idea.
Anyway, that's all for now. Hopefully once we get all moved in, in MS i'll be better at updating on here.
